A former vegetarian from the USA has decided to give up plant-based food and now eats a whole bar of butter every day. This is reported by the Daily Mail.
Kerissa Taylor claims that for 20 years she avoided meat and other animal products. Now she considers it a mistake and urges to consume more animal fats.
The most unusual element of her new diet is butter. The woman uses it every day, spreading it on homemade cutlets or adding it to bone broth, and tries to eat at least 100 grams a day. She told about the consequences of such a diet in her blog.
“70 per cent of my calories come from fat,” Taylor says. She claims such a diet boosts energy levels, helps absorb micronutrients and promotes gut and brain health.
