The French prosecutor’s office rejected the complaint of actress Hélène Darras, who claimed that she was sexually assaulted by legendary French actor Gerard Depardieu. As the reason is indicated as the statute of limitations of the alleged offence.
Recall that Darras filed a complaint against the 75-year-old colleague, alleging that Gerard Depardieu assaulted her on the set of the film Fabien Onteniente “Disco”” in 2007. The actress made her allegations public in an interview with French television in December 2023.
Thirteen women have accused Gerard Depardieu of sexual assault
The actor categorically denied his guilt, claiming that he had never been violent towards women and all sexual encounters were only consensual. Gerard Depardieu was not convicted on any of the charges.
