Apple has sold off all stock of its Vision Pro augmented reality headset. This was stated by insider Min-Chi Ko in his blog on Medium.
According to the information of the specialist, for three days since the opening of pre-orders for the devices, Apple managed to collect from 160 to 180 thousand applications. In the minimum version of AR-glasses were estimated at $ 3500. With a rough calculation, the IT giant could earn between Friday and Monday 630 million dollars.
Min-Chi Ko emphasised that a few hours after the sales opened, the information about the availability of the device changed. While during the day on Friday Apple promised to deliver the Vision Pro in a few days, by the evening the delivery timeframe had increased to five to seven weeks. Also, the insider noted that the corporation has sold the entire first batch of AR-devices.
