Apple explained the lack of games on the Mac

Apple’s Mac product marketing manager Gordon Keppel spoke in an interview with Inverse about the future of the company’s computers in the video game market. The material is available on the media site.

In a conversation with journalists Keppel explained why not so many AAA-titles are released for Mac as for other platforms. According to him, the desire of developers is necessary for the emergence of a large number of video games. In this regard, many large projects are not even going to adapt for the device brands. “We are constantly listening to feedback and looking for ways to improve the App Store,” emphasised the firm’s top manager.

According to Gordon Keppel, Apple has ambitions to turn the Mac into one of the major gaming platforms on the market. The spokesperson said that Apple has a line of performance processors and the computers have high-quality displays and speakers.
